The University of California Irvine Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery is composed of a group of physicians and scientists who are dedicated towards advancing the health of individuals with ear, nose and throat conditions. Members of the department provide care for patients with common and complex diseases including hearing and balance conditions, head and neck cancer, sinus and allergy disease, thyroid and parathyroid conditions, voice swallowing and breathing problems, as well as the full range of facial plastic and aesthetic surgery.
All members of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery are board-certified otolaryngologists and members of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Physicians not only evaluate and perform surgery for patients, but also teach medical students and physicians-in-training. Members of the department are invited regionally, nationally, and internationally to present research and deliver lectures to physicians from around the world.
