Comprehensive General Otolaryngology
Victor Passy is a board-certified physician specializing in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Passy earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the College of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the California College of Medicine (UCI College of Medicine). Dr. Passy is a graduate of the Los Angeles County Hospital Otolaryngology Residency Training Program. Following graduation, Dr. Passy came to the UCI Medical Center at its inception and has stayed on as a member of the medical staff faculty. He has been the recipient of many University teaching awards and received the "Lifetime Achievement Award" in 2005 for his contributions to otolaryngology (e.g., development of the Passy-Muir Tracheostomy Speaking Valve and development of the ENT program at UCI). He takes an active interest in resident and student education and volunteer faculty activities. Dr. Passy’s clinical interests include general and pediatric otolaryngology and his research interests are in airway and swallowing rehabilitation. Dr. Passy is now Professor Emeritus in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery at the UC Irvine.
