Dr. Kuan Authors International Consensus Statement for Sinonasal Tumors

The Department of Otolaryngology recognizes the accomplishment of Dr. Ed Kuan as the lead/principal author on the International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology (ICAR) for sinonasal tumors that was recently published. ICAR is a statement on a different topic each year that requires an expert review of the literature to provide an evidence-based summary (this year the topic is sinonasal tumors). 

Overall, the ICAR has a large impact internationally, given the incidence of sinus and nasal problems in populations around the world.
