The Department Faculty offer medical-legal consultations and Independent medical evaluations (IME).

Faculty providing medical expert witness, independent medical examinations, workers compensation evaluations and consultations:

• Roger Crumley, MD (voice and swallowing problems)
• Hamid Djalilian, MD (hearing loss, ear diseases, ringing in the ears, dizziness, facial paralysis, skull base tumors, general ear nose and throat diseases)
• Norman Harris, MD (general otolaryngology). Dr. Harris is a Qualified Medical Examiner certified by the state of California for Worker's Compensation injuries.

Evaluations and Specialty areas include but are not limited to:

• Hearing Disorders
• Tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
• Dizziness (vertigo)
• Hoarseness (vocal cord paralysis, etc.)
• Swallowing problems
• Thyroid and Parathyroid disorders
• Post-surgical complications
